TR, the 'kids' scarcely believe me when I tell them a nice little earner was staying late to change the big tape reels used for backup. And the capacity was shockingly low, probably 250 Mb max. Oh the days of text screens 25 x 80.

I count myself lucky to have been awed by Lillian Thomson and the 1976 West Indies team. And still be able to run.

Agreed, 57.5. The first test I really remember having an impact on me was during India’s tour here in 1974. My memory tells me that I watched *most* of their innings of 42 during a break or lunch break on a TV at school.

Is there a more British, public school name than Rachel Heyhoe-Flint? Perhaps if she had been a Charlotte. Most of them are charlatans, but I digress. She was a trail blazer as opposed to stuffed blazer.
