Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

WA - if it were me I'd do the shopping as usual but visit in the garden and keep my 2m distance for a week to ten days. Hopefully that would reassure your daughter too.

What a pain Mandy - hope you get your results through quickly.

Interesting Mandy, that’s exactly what we are being told not to do in Grampian. If you’ve had a close contact you’re to isolate for 14 days and only have a test if you have symptoms. They are also worried about people having the test then thinking that means they can go about business as usual.

JR - I have Garmin Connect app on my phone and noticed that I have to charge my phone far more frequently now. Think it's because it also uses Bluetooth as does the Covid track and trace apps.

Garmin Connect is a known battery hog, quite apart from its bluetooth interface.

NE - I might take the Garmin app off my phone, sometimes it doesn't update to my PC so I end up having to plug my watch into the PC anyway. I don't like the format of the phone app so don't use it for stats purposes.

MN I get and understand that, its just not knowing what to do for the best. I will have a test but I dont go many places or mix with many people as it is. Am just blooming cross with OH's and his works lack of following guidelines (which I have only this evening been made aware of).

Yeah it’s tough. In your situation I would be wanting a test too. Ugh that’s frustrating about his work :(

It's a bit confusing as to who gets tested and when. My son and DiL were tested last week as they had visited a garden where someone who later tested positive had been although they never saw said person but people as testing said seeing as it was 4 days later they might as well get the test as that is when they would be.likely to be showing signs - so who knows
