I haven’t followed anything that’s been discussed in here yet so sorry if this has already come up anywhere! All going a bit Pete tong isn’t it? Im in a lucky situation where I WFH anyway so not really affected by that. But I’m getting a little twitchy about something…. My son is supposed to start preschool in Jan. At his age it’s entirely optional. Until now we do toddler classes each day so it’s not like we are in hiding but it’s not the same situation as being inside with a load of kids all day long. I want him to go as of course it will be great for him, but do you think it’s just a Covid invitation?! I also don’t want him to be stuck in any potential lockdown with nothing to do, so its tricky. Just wanted other peoples thoughts really, would you start him, or delay a term? |

They were queuing round the block outside our mass vaccination centre in town today! Glad it was a dry, mild day for them ![]() |

GF, I’d delay it - but I think they start school and preschool too young anyway, so maybe not the best person to ask!

My football match is off on Saturday, along with half the calendar by the looks of it. Might be in for a rough time. Apparently 25% of footballers have refused to have even one jab.

Regarding the footballers - I Wonder if they’d be covered under their insurance if they had to quit playing due to covid related illness.

Can someone (jda ?) help me with this? (The Guardian) " without action, the country will see 1 million infections a day by the end of the month" How can that be? There are only 60 odd million of us, aren't there? Some of those people will have immunity. Some will fight it off and not get infected. |
