kaysdee Dec 2021 11:07am, 11 Dec 2021 265 posts	0 kaysdee S18 finally out of hospital (straight from HDU as couldn’t find him a ward bed). An experience I’d not like to repeat in a hurry. Although he’s used a non invasive ventilator at home for years, he was inches from being intubated… it was a close call this time. Got him booked in for his booster tomorrow - he missed his slot when he ended up in hospital. Christmas tree and decorations tonight to cheer him up. He’s Santa’s biggest fan 😃 On the work front, they cancelled yesterday’s Christmas meal and everyone is back to wfh. Expectation that I (manager) and the RD are largely present in the office, with a few who are unable to wfh 🙄.

After my 1st jab, AZ, I got a headache and shivers that lasted about 24 hours but really hit me hard the morning after. I’d say the effects of Moderna wee milder, but lasted a bit longer. No headache, cold and felt achy. Jabbed at 11:00 Thursday, went to bed tired and aching last night. Fine now.
