Is that the Captain Tom who thought it was a smart move to travel to Barbados and back over Christmas?

Hmmm...poor guy, but honestly....

Jda, I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking that.

I heard an article on the news this morning saying Chris Whitty was pushing for 6 weeks between jabs, but I can’t see anything suggesting this has been adopted.

That would pull lots of jabs forward and impact the queue for first doses, might explain why the calculator has pushed some dates back?

Mrs Axe and I had a walk this afternoon part of which was on the canal path but to be honest we regretted that as it was absolutely jampacked with people. Many of whom in big groups and very few who seemed to want to give any space. We were quite relieved when we got off the canal path and could pick our way around quieter streets.

Baz, the canal paths round by us have been awful since lockdown 1, and now they're mostly quagmire, so totally useless for running on (at least if I want to enjoy my run at all).

To be honest, I haven't even looked at the predictor, I'm so far down the list that I don't expect to get it before summer. I'm glad we're currently on track though.

I'll be following the positive covid twitter feed with interest, OH has struggled with lockdown, so it will be good to be able to say some good things occasionally.

[ Walking round the garden, or a trip to Barbados at 100? Hmm .. may be worth it ]

[ but presumably not infected by the trip - unless other infections led to greater contact / risk? ]

My partner got the Pfizer jab yesterday. Was expecting 12 weeks gap but its 10 weeks gap until the next one (depending on EU machinations).

My son is 17 and vulnerable because of his lung condition. We got a text at 7:45 tonight asking us to book an appointment. 4pm on Tuesday...
