They spent some of the day on the Fife side and then (rather naughtily) crossed to the Lothian side. With just my binoculars, I saw nothing more than the huge 'blows'. But geeks with x300 lenses got much more. Yes, everyone brilliantly sensible in the car park and elsewhere. So, the police were too. I suppose technically we were all breaking the rules. But at zero risk to anyone.

My 87yo miL has still heard nothing despite being near the top of the GPs vulnerable list. When called the Gp surgery don’t seem interested and say it will happen when it happens.
