Ceratonia
The warm-up and the run being logged separately doesn't give you any advantage now - you can only get points for each activity once per day in each zone.

In the game as it is you lose your yellow square let alone your red if you don't run for a year so unless you return annually I don't think it can always be yours. Also, I think that you can only count one activity per day so the warm-up / down / interval session thing doesn't add any more, I think.
I'll admit that I don't think walking to the lunch queue should count and I am surprised more people aren't a bit ashamed putting their Garmin on to walk to the shops or round legoland but each to their own.

I think you can add different activities up, e.g. running and biking on the same day gets you 3 points. Not sure how cross-training works. I guess a max 1 x Xtrain, otherwise some people could properly take the proverbial.

even after a year they are still greyed out as explored ceratonia....
but yeah, i think noone owns them, can still have a place named after you though! if noone else comes along!
Didn't someone say that they logged their yoga class as visiting the zone their gym was in.... that seems a bit pointless to me! once maybe to get the zone if you never run there, but not every time.
Horses for courses i guess...!

Walking is defeitnely part of my training, be it as part of ultra training or as a recovery exercise after a hard race, therefore it gets logged. Although it is s shame that it doesn't pick up the correct header in the fit file and record it initially as walking.
It's also a shame walking doesn't count into mileage stats, so I always then change mine to run-walk.

Over the past week or so I've been losing ownership of zones in the Lake District almost on a daily basis. Not sure whether someone is currently there and nabbing them, or whether I've got old ones getting to over 12 months old. I suspect probably a combination of both Luckily I'm there again next week, so I'll probably grab a few of them back again and hopefully explore a few new ones to fill in some gaps

I don't think we get notifications when they are over a year old, do we? I don't recall having seen any.

We don't Linds, I asked Fetch that question. You don't get a notification if you gain a zone due to someone else's ownership being over a year old either.

I think I was the one who mentioned logging my yoga class, and no, I haven't, I was joking 😅
(well I log the training but not so that it counts for conquercise)
