57.5 Degrees of Pain
I guess I never knew what I was missing IT! Of course when I lived on Hoy, Thurso was the lights of the big city I could yearn for over the water.

Four more Surrey zones for me tonight, seeing off a little island of unexploredness that has annoyed me since a phone-call at the beginning of the run that was meant to get them caused me to turn round and go back.

nothing like a long training run around the Arden Way to gain 26 new zones in a day

On holiday in a few weeks will give me the chance to reclaim some un-owned zones Might try to contrive a route from Nyabihu to Shyira via Karago and Giceye to conquer some unexplored (by anyone) zones

Personally I would go for unexplored zones.

How feasible is an ascent of Karisimbi? Presumably that's a multi-day hike with some camping at altitude.

You're right - Karisimbi is a two day hike.
Trip will be hard enough as it is, so camping at altitude is a step too far. May stay in the Hotel Karisimbi in Kigali instead First trip to Gisenyi (just off SW corner of map) in 17 years should yield a few new zones, but would be nice to fill the gap between Nyabihu and Shyira - there is a road East from near Giceye, but it's not marked on any maps

18 zones visited around Hathersage on a trip to the Peak District. A good example and excuse for another holiday!

I finally got my home zone back *fistpump* It's neck and neck with the other person though so I'll hold off from renaming it just yet!
