Is it once in every 24 hours from when you first log an activity or just 24 hours from midnight? What if you say run in a zone at say 7pm one day then again at 6am the next day?

It's one day, UK time. So 7pm one day and 6am the next time counts as two runs.

Cheers
I nabbed and own 15 new zones this week in Sweden. Result.

But you can log different activities on same day so a cycle and a run will both count - which arguably shouldn't be the case either.

Ceratonia - not sure I understand your point ""Once per day levels up things so that runners rather than cyclists have a chance to own some zones.""?
If anyone bike-commutes *to* work, then they are quite likely to bike home again later in the day. But isn't that also true of folk who run to work?

Just to point out that, like a true Viking, I recently conquered and plundered quite a lot of Shetland. If anyone attempts to take my zones, beacons will be lit on the tallest hills to alert me.

They'll need to be seriously large beacons for you to see them from there.

commuters just need a circular route so they can pick up zones morning and evening. Simples.
