(did you know that Nigel, in the kilt to the right, presenting the awards is Jenny Holt's father? Jenny is Sophie's normal pilot, and she came 4th. Must be gutting to be asked to award the medals and your daughter just misses out.)

Sorry - Nigel and Jenny Holl.
Her 'english' pilot is Georgia Holt. Nia Holt also rode for Wales. Too many Holts!

Now she's had a chance to Whats App ....
1) apparently Nigel Holl made her promise to come back from Canada (UCI World Champs) with a medal for Jenny before giving her the silver medal
2) And thanks for the offers to help with the UCI fine (good value according to Chris Boardman), but Team England (ie GB cycling) are taking the hit. Which saves me paying it.
