Shelley Woods and David Weir not having things their own way in the wheelchair marathon.
Not a particularly interesting course (Brummies feel free to correct me). Good aerial shots showing the whole city virtually traffic-free.

Surrey Phil - no, it's not the most interesting course. A lot of it is the Birmingham Half course, which I guess is why there's the double loop on the course. Not a lot to look at but can be challenging at the points you wouldn't want it to be. There will be some continual incline up toward the finish.

Some of the u-turns looked a bit too tight for the wheelchair participants.
Liam Adams had a great race. Tried to get in among the five African runners and dictate the pace but Kiplangat took the initiative at one drinks station and didn't look back.

Amazing effort from Jessica Stenson in the marathon. A 16:30 5k to get rid of everyone else!
