Ha! I might not be biking and hiking but it's hillier where I live! My four mile walk with the dog this morning logged me 164 metres.

I was actually looking at Night Owl's 50 metres. She has claimed in the past that her immediate vicinity is hilly. Prove it N-O!
Not as hilly as my hill obvs - and today's walk was one of the flatter ones.

360m of ascent for me today. But that was in 41 miles. We chose a flat route.

You see N-O, we just can't compete with those Northern cyclists and fellhoppers.

You can if we have personalised targets and compete on percentages of those achieved.
If I was going to stretch myself, I'd aim for something like 100 miles of ascent.

I wonder if Fetch could produce some sort of league table like that? Based on last year, I'd set my sights on 10,000m. It would be cool to say I've done a vertical 10k

That does sound cool LD. A vertical 10k! What a nice idea.

That sounds like an interesting idea, LD. After another 3 miles today, I have accumulated...22m of ascent according to FE
