Cyclops the one-eyed reindeer
Cooked and eaten half of an enormous ham! Was delicious, if I say so myself. Not done anything to prepare tomorrow's turkey dinner...

Yup. We had that problem too. And LittleD has a stocking with bells on. And the door creaks and the floorboards do too.

I am empathising with you, TeeBee. Both children took an age to even get to bed, now my ten year old is doing everything but go to sleep.
Just started wrapping the last of the presents for family coming tomorrow and Boxing Day then I think we can call it a night.

The best thing we did was to leave stockings by the fire in the front room. No creeping into bedrooms or waiting until they’re asleep, and no middle of the night unwrapping!
In my new house I have no fire or chimney. We were discussing how Santa might get in (they’re teens, so it was a theoretical discussion). I said I’d leave the balcony doors unlocked! The stockings are by the tree.
