Volunteered at parkrun, stopped by the care home to give dad his presents, then home alone for the rest of the day. Me, not the film. There's nowt on tele so I'm having a long overdue clearout. Going to have to start putting non-smelly stuff in the shed rather than the bins though, they're getting a bit full and the recycling only got emptied yesterday. I share that one with next door so I'd best leave them some room for their Christmas stuff.

We had muddy runs and walks this morning followed by breakfast and now lunch. Sitting replete ready for presents before we tackle the pudding and cheese. I hope people have had an enjoyable Christmas Day.

Had lunch now enduring Ian Fleming's worst story. Going to walk the dog for 8 hours I think.

Been for a run walk then walk then run then walk. Came back as muddy as a puppy. MrS just put oven on, he’s making roast, I made breakfast at about 11, c9 has played and chilled. This is a fairly miserable time of year for me but this has been a good day, mrS is very kind

Guests have all gone now. Dinner was a success, plus everyone behaved and there were no disagreements. Just made Sian a toastie, time to catch up on here.

Frimley parkrun with the family, volunteering too, back home by 11, but not such a rush as the kids were not so bothered about when they did presents. Just a turkey crown to roast but there's still more than half of it left after feeding 6. So there will be plenty more turkey based meals to come. All pretty quiet until ds started playing Metallica. Just going to chill for the rest of the day.

Feeling full. Mum and Mr WA washing up and I'm having a little sit down. For the first time in forever, everything was ready at the right time and I didn't forget anything.
