Cat shelter’s resident chonk, Zacharias. He won’t let anyone stroke him let alone brush him so he has to go to the vet for regular bottom shaves to remove build up of dangle berries 🫣

Quite the floof! Norwegian forest cat? There's one here which gets taken for a walk on a lead; I thought he was quite small but learned that he was just a youngster and that his father was 13kg!

How much do they charge just for his clinkers & does he accept it or is it a major challenge?

Help! Cat rescue is overing us a 3yo who is overweight and needs to slim down. She lives with 2 other cats so should be ok with Pascal (though i cannot understand why her humans are giving her up and cat rescue does not understand either. Maybe she needs expensive special diet.)
However, Pascal is used to having food out all day and grazing.
Is this a realistic thing to try to manage or should we just say no, this isn't going to work, rather than putting them both through the trauma and then maybe having to give her back anyway?
I know some of you have food bowl timer things. How does that work with one "normal" cat and one on a "regime"?
