She's less chonky after trying a metabolic kibble which has done the trick (when we actually stuck to the dosage!) so is now on the maintenance portion. I just picked Marlinspike up by the armpits and carried him over to his scratcher when he started scratching on the wrong things, Jen. Put his paws on the scratcher and told him he was a good boy.... erm, that's probably not the right thing to do. 🤣 Plus, he's a kitten and 100% happy with being picked up and dangled cos I think he's a bit daft.

My dad is going to have to go into a care home so we were going to have to rehome his cat but I asked dad if he wanted me to take him instead. Don't think it will be that smooth a transition but got to give it a go.
