Had a look at the new paths on my training run tonight - looking very shiny and nice, although definitely not finished yet! Area around the cafe still barricaded off and diversions in place.

Is it the whole course - or just the parts that already had hard paths?

It's the paths nearest the cafe and a bit of the finishing straight so far.

Yes. I think so anyway. They take an awful lot of traffic from all the park users along there and were badly eroded. I hope that the new surface will mean that the park users won't now be tempted onto the grass on either side and widen the path unnecessarily.

Rich, have they done all the paths? As I think the worst was the first small loop.

They're doing the bit along the middle that we run three times. The rest of the small loop is as it was.
