No train strike now but is there a distinct lack of buses and drivers for the Park & Ride? It's either that or some dilemma as where to park the buses at Hove Lawns, or even how to get them close to the finish without interfering with runners on the BM10k and marathon courses.

Surely they must have worked out where the buses can go at Finish!! Surely...haven't they!?!
Meanwhile I was interrupted from typing this by the postman who's brought my daughter's racepack!

Park & Ride e-mail has just arrived and is now open. So that should keep the Facebook complainers quiet. £17.50 per vehicle from Mill Road (just off the A27/A23 roundabout) or from Brighton Racecourse. No Park & Ride to the 10k start. Didn't there used to be 3-4 locations in the early days?
I still intend to be dropped off by my dad/nephew just before the road closure at Withdean. If other family members were taking part, I might take it up. But for the sake of walking one mile, I'm keeping my money in my pocket.

Don't tell everyone, but you can avoid road closures and get closer to start, you may not get all the way, but will get close. Due north of here nothing's closed.

It's on the road. It's closed to through traffic - they use it because the by-pass means they can close it without causing mush of a problem.

Got my number too 😳
Need to start getting organised. Not been the best build up.
Had injury so missed a fair chunk of training. Had COVID for the third time last week (as did friend I’m going with). Somehow managed 20 miles on Sunday. God knows how I’ll manage another 10k on top of that. Car got written off. So need to sort out a new one ASAP. So, apart from that…..
