Don’t be put off by the blurb for the Perceval Everett book @Diogenes I borrowed it on the library’s ebook app when struggling to find something that looked half decent and loved it. Very dry humour. Another lucky find was Mayflies by Andrew O’Hagan which was just brilliant although it had me in floods of tears at the end. The poetry of the writing stopped you in your tracks at times.

Thirty days hath September, April, March and Autumn. All the rest have thirty as well but with an extra one. Or minus one. Sometimes two.

And with that mnmnemonic, we see that Tim's winged chariot is October bound. (That's Tim Spall who is taken to film sets on a personal chariot)

@GregP it will soon be Tim to chose an Octobernator. The estimable candidates are:
@westmoors
@McGoohan
@Bintmcskint

Binters, please? This was by a process of unnecessarily complicated spreadsheeting and the use of =RAND() and =RANK()

Little Nemo
I'm at 93% for this month's choice, if it wasn't the Kindle edition I'd be chucking it at the wall ;-)
