At most price points its difficult to see how you can beat a Focus in sheer VFM terms. No experience of the Cayo, but its had *fabulous* reviews.

If I was going to buy a tri bike for that money, though, I *wouldn't* instantly get an Izalca Tria, not unless there was a *very* good reason not to get a Q-Roo Kilo.

Hasn't the Izalco Tria got much better components for your £££?

It's swings and round abouts B.B the Q-Roo gets Dura Ace mechs and shifters these are what pro's in the TDF use. The Focus uses Sram Rival which is not the top range in Sram line up but still very good mechs and use the new Sram carbon redline shifters. But it's how the bike feels when you sit on it and ride that counts.

It has, yes. SRAM kit, IIRC. Its more an emotion thing. A Q-Roo for me is like an Alfa Romeo. It doesn't make sense, but it *feels* right.

I feel the same way about Bianchi. However, a Bianchi with tri bars is just *wrong*, but they look great on my Focus (2007 Ergoride-SL).
