Thanks. Was lovely.
I would say so jude, I like to call myself a cyclist, been doing it less time than you, longest ever ride 25ish miles, and ave speed a bit slower than you. But I aim to get out once or twice a week, so I call myself a cyclist. Plus I have those silly clip in shoes that made me fall off, therefore I am a proper cyclist as I have fallen off, or so they say

Cheers KR2 - BumBum. So riding 20miles at a certain speed is equivalent to 5.7miles running...Poop.
Jude - You're a Tri afflete!!!

Squueeee! Yes I am. I've ditched the clippy inny thingys for now though - hate them with a passion. Much more confident without! Turbo trainer-ing tonight, don't trust myself/other peeps cycling in dark.. BBLB - but I haven't cycled 91 miles. 91! Count them!

Jude, have you fallen over, really slowly, in front of pedestrians, clipped in yet? If so, you are a cyclist

I seem to only be able to unclip comfortably on the one side. I'm sure it'll come. Nearly came a cropper today, but had room to peddle forwards and therefore averted a major falling off disaster!

Hann - I've given up on them completely. Don't want to fall over before this triathlon and risk major injury so going normo shoes. Afterwards I'll re-visit. Call me a wimp but I'm not investing a years worth of bloody swimming and cycling and not being to run enough and then throwing it all away on 2 stupid clips! GAH! (can you tell I have been in a major quandry about this and am still a bit cross with myself??)
