Basic Triathlon questions from those who don't know

Mum has a friend in Thame who does a lot of OW swimming who will help us with some lake swims in advance. I'm in H Wycombe. Are short sleeved/legged suits worth it? The only time I wore a wetsuit as a teen I had so much fabric pooled at my ankles.
fraggle May 2019 4:06pm, 4 May 2019 1,910 posts	0 fraggle Poppy - you can hire a wetsuit for the season if you don't want to buy one, but if yo buy one, you can always cut the legs/sleeves down a bit to be more comfortable. If you think that you might do a bit more swimming, then I can thoroughly recommend Snugg wetsuits on Cornwall - as they do a made to measure option (I'm 5"1 so normal wetsuits are a bit to long for me !) snuggwetsuits.co.uk
