Apologies in advance HoD but I'm looking for some bike advice.

First Olympic distance Tri at the beginning of June so need to get bike fit quick. Any thoughts on a good 4 week plan to get a decent level of bike fitness. Is the essentially the same approach as running with some endurance/tempo/speed work?

Just finished a marathon campaign and have been swimming fairly regularly so don't want to fall apart on the bike leg,. cheers

I did a bit last year in the build up to Aberfeldy Half IM (did the bike leg in 3 hours) and did some turbo work over the winter but fairly low on miles - done very little this year due to weather and running getting in the way.

Fair enough, I'm not expecting magic. I'm just looking to see if there's any way to get as much out of it as I can in the little time I have

Ride your bike as much as you can :-)

I'm currently disappointed to find that after a great winter marathon campaign (and PB) I have next to no bike fitness. Last spring I somehow converted much better to the bike - perhaps due to doing a little bit more cycling through the winter. First time trial of the season last week was an all-time worst (admittedly in poor weather). The only answer, I suspect, is to get on my bike...

I have a basic question. No way I am doing a triathlon but I have signed up for a du.

The event (not calling it a race!) is in June, it's bound to be warm so ordinarily it'd be a vest for a run. What happens when you get on the bike though, do you get freezing cold on the bike in a vest? I assume so. Do you put something warmer on in transition? Then what about your number, doesn't it get covered up?! Agh!!!!

Basic.....
