Any hints and tips on freezing baked goods? Once I have more time I’m hoping to bake cake and thought it would be a good idea to ensure portion control and freshness by freezing! I know you shouldn’t freeze decorated but wondered if anyone had experiences good or bad or recipes to use? Also pondering biscuits? Anyway to keep them for longer than a couple of days? Can they be frozen and taken out for eating too? |

Some biscuit dough, like ginger bread cake be frozen pre baking. I’ve heard people with air fryers freeze the dough, then just cook a few in the air fryer when wanted. I think most sponge cakes can be frozen. I would guess muffins or cupcakes would be good candidates. |

I freeze just about any bake and biscuit. Including iced ones and ones with buttercream in.
