for Ocelot Spleens and your flapjacks, I make then a bit lighter by swapping some of the oats for cereal. I find rice crispies, coco-pops and honey nut loops all work quite well. I do 5oz oats, 3oz cereal. Sometimes you need to add a little extra syrup to get the right consistency. |

The blackberries are in the cake and the apples are in the topping. The topping has a base of whipped cream. The recipe says to sandwich the cakes with the cream and dust the top with icing sugar. It also should be twice the quantity so when I made it before I spread it all over the cake as there was so much. I thought I'd do half the amount this time and there was still plenty to cover the cake. |

Yes. It's a Streusel. Butter, sugar and cinnamon. He says reading a recipe online.
