We're having a tray bake competition at our work xmas get together in a few weeks - I'm debating between the trusted Biscoff brownies or a cookie tray bake. The colleague organising it favours tiffin, but that's not really baking

Question: if I'm going to top my brownies with Skittles, do I put them on before baking, near the end, at the end, after cooling, or when? I suspect they won't stick if I put them on cool but I'm not sure what the heat will do to them.

I’d expect the heat to melt them? Cause colours to run? But like pothunter says…it needs extensive research 🤪
