My starting point is to reduce the sugar by 25% for a US recipe, but usually follow the recipe as is for a UK one (especially from an older cook book).

I tend to put as little as i think i can get away - depends on what i’m making - with in especially if there are other sweet ingredients like dried fruit. Some thinga do just need it for the finished resukt to be right though.

Haven't baked anything in a while. May do some Easter biscuits to take to MiL on Easter Day. And some weekend bread.
Any recommendations for a sourdough cracker recipe? I'm not making a weekly loaf at the moment but I think my starter's better if it's fed weekly, so I'm thinking of feeding it (with wholemeal rye flour) and then using it for crackers rather than bread. It's a no-discard starter, so just a few grams which live in the fridge in a jar. There are lots of recipes online but a recommendation is always better!
