It’s hubby’s birthday today. He loves millionaires shortbread. I’ve never made it before but I got the recipe from my mum and gave it a go.
The caramel is more like toffee even though I stopped when it reached 130 degrees rather than the 220 that the recipe stated.
Still tasted ok, just very chewy!

I made another batch, only let the caramel go to just over 100 degrees this time and they are perfect
