I grew up thinking that apple Charlotte was stewed apples with breadcrumbs on top, baked in the oven so that they crisped up. That looks lovely OC. |

Happy Winnie The Pooh Day! No, I'd never heard of it either, but apparently it's "a thing" and it's today. I messaged Mini Nico* and suggested she make Pooh a cake with hunny in it. She's just sent me this picture... * Tissues ready: Mini Nico was born 10 weeks early and weighed less than a bag of sugar. I bought her the Pooh toy in the picture and he slept in her incubator with her. Pooh still goes everywhere with us, even though she is now a 17 year old young lady who terrorises opposition front rows. |
