We never doubted you panad.

Raspberry yogurt cake worked. Took a bit longer to cook but I think that's probably because the raspberries weren't as defrosted and drained as the plums. Lovely texture again (if I say so myself).

Finally got round to making the turmeric and ginger biscuits from this thread. Not as red in the middle as I'd hoped, but they pack a fiery punch, very pleased with them.

Rookie error opening oven door when baking OH birthday cake today (for some reason I tried baking at a slightly lower temp but didnt adjust the time). Still, a good bit of jam/icing covers many uneven surfaces!

Indeed it does (and if theyโ€™re to be sandwiched together You could always turn one upside down, so the tops are together in the middle - gives space for a nice generous filling as well ๐Ÿ˜‚)
