That's a good idea although this recipe doesn't have a lot of butter

Mine has 125g for a 2lb loaf so I'd probably stick 25g of peanut butter in.

It's got to be worth a try Linds. Or I guess you could always try just adding some peanut butter as an extra.

Finally got round to making cinnamon buns, they are delicious. Next time I'll roll out larger and thinner. Not all iced as one person in house not keen on icing 🙄

I do love this thread. I didn't get on here last night so it's been a delight to get caught up with everyone's bakes and comments today.
I ordered and ice-cream maker this morning and then have just read that LF has one and made ice-cream yesterday - I'll be after tips please LF!

The fudge I made the other day is much nicer tasting now than it was on the day I made it. So i think leave it for 2 days before eating. I cut it into 72 pieces instead of the 36 the recipe stated - it is really rich. It melts in your mouth.

I'm going to soak some fruit and make a 'St Delia' Christmas cake so we have a back up cake if we run out. I took the left over polenta cake out of the freezer a couple of days ago. It is still really moist but is falling apart so not ideal for freezing.
