Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I didn’t do much today. Cable reverse flies, Bulgarian split squats and lay (cable) pull down. Was in the gym before 07:10 mind. And in the pool not much after 07:30.

I'm back! Made it to gym on Wed evening for first time in 2 weeks of lurgy.

My usual is - foam roller, stretches, sit ups x 60 with twists, plank 60s, side plank x 60s x 2, including twists and leg lifts, wobble board dumbbell side raises, curls and presses x 15 x 3, body weight lunges, squats, single leg squats, bridge lifts and single leg eccentric heel drops all 15 x 2, then a couple machines, lat pull down and chest press x15 x 3 (but failed at the end!)

Good to be back! :-) G

Takes 1h05 and I usually try and do 2-3 times per week. I need to do a class, bodypump or Pilates or something, but I've got out of the habit. Big gym, and it's got the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi for after if I've got time which is nice too. :-) G

I could do with getting the sauna and jacuzzi fitted in my shed but then I’d have to do everything else outside!😉

Five minutes in the sauna at Nuffield after swimming is absolutely non-negotiable :)

To be fair the shed got up to 38C at one stage yesterday afternoon so maybe it already is a sauna.

What puzzles me is the people who work out in the gym with giant over-ear headphones on. Aren't their ears bathed in sweat?

I always wonder about that when I see people running with the big cans on, quimby. It seems like it's going to be very sweaty round your earholes. Can't be good for the headphones.

Leg sets included horizontal press 50kg 2 x 15 reps; 75kg 2 x 10 reps; 100kg 1 x 10 reps; and repeat 50kg 2 x 15 reps. Not seen 100kg for a few weeks on account of grumbling R glutes.
