Knew there was one I had forgotten that had been getting good buzz. Crazy amount of good games right now.
Wife informed me I was getting one of Titan 2 and Overwatch for Christmas. So hoping the baby decides to "stay at home" until due date, maybe even a few days past

Ha ha! I can only imagine what damage a baby would wreck to my game playing life!

Finished the main story of Witcher 3 at the weekend. Genuinely think, writing wise, that is one of the best games I've played in my 30+ (eek) years of gaming.
I have two 30+ hours expansions loaded up, doubtless to remain unfinished for eternity but at least I got the main game done.
In other news, that Super Mario Run game is pretty neat. Typical Mario, pretty easy to finish levels but real hard to get 100% coins etc.

Merry Christmas & Happy New G(rrr)
I got another recommendation for Witcher 3 at weekend. From a Polish guy who claimed it was written by Poles, based on traditional tales. Sounded amazing. G

My Polish hairdresser told me that their tradition at Christmas is to keep a live carp in the bath until they see the first star on Christmas Eve. Then they eat it. I googled it, and it's A Thing.

Anyone watching Time Commanders on BBC4 tonight ?? Its 2 player Total War on steroids.
I'll probably watch it on catch up. There's a small game of footy going on involving a couple of local teams on TV tonight

Will watch that on catchup, used to be on ten years ago with Richard Hammond and Eddie Mair, presenting.

Umm.
I remember once they had a team of senior people from the MOD and they were dreadful.
The next week there was a family with two primary school age kids, the mum ran the show shouting 'Kill them' a lot, they did really well.

The Polish Witcher thing is true. Books written there, games developed by a Polish company. It's a massive timesink but I really did enjoy it.
Didn't know Time Commanders was back, I kinda remember the original show as being a really neat idea but then I was underwhelmed everytime I watched it. Bad memory though.
