TTR Nordic only has one bonus card at the end but NL has 11. Four are opened randomly at the start, giving you more to aim at than tickets and making more replay potential. NL also has more routes with 2 trains, cutting down on potential for nasty or awkward plays.

Earth is good. A bit like Ark Nova in theme but much lighter to play. Zips along a lot faster too!

Thanks for the link. It's quite different from Nordic Countries in many ways - the Murmansk to Lieksa route has gone, for one, and the player count is up to five. I can see lots of reasons for adding it to my collection!

Earth sounds good. I've added it to my wanted list but I'd like to try Wingspan first. I'll look up Guess Who too.

Lol, sorry Nord! I was just joking because of today's advent calender challenge. Wasn't an actual recommendation 😆

Wingspan is very good. I've got the European expansion on my Christmas wishlist. Once you have played Wingspan a few times, it's easy to get into a way of thinking that suggests that there is one strong strategy for maximising points in the final round of the game and we seem to have found it. Apparently the European expansion balances things out and makes the later stages as open as what goes before. |
