My runs still go there and I give them a name and give kudos mainly because of peer pressure but I don't see that the logging features are any use at all.

I get the bit about Pseudonyms being important to some people - those in public facing roles: health, education etc. But on Farcebook, Stroova etc. it's the exception not the norm. And in here, I agree you can find out a person's real name by looking at race results, so the pseudonyms don't really protect your anonymity. Just obscure it a bit. To a new person, I think it would look weird to stumble into somewhere, where everyone has a funny name. Not expecting it to change. Just reflecting on what it looks like to someone new. Maybe "funny" is a bit vague. Obscure might be a better adjective. And I accept that other forums do it (for instance, another hobby I have, has a forum where you can get advice, and in that case buy and sell things, and they have user names that aren't your real name. But to be honest, that place IS full of weirdos!! ) So yes, welcome to anyone new from ~~strava~~ or anywhere else. Just ask for any info you need. This place isn't weird. Honest. But it might be a bit... obscure?! G
