DT - if you click on the show all years bit on your training you can see your cross training mileage.... I think 😀

Sorry phal, I meant an annual cumulative table comparing various fetchies’ mileage for the year ie a rolling version of the monthly tables for the year

You might need to suggest that one to Lord Fetch - I’m not sure there is one...

DT - Good idea.
Sounds like what you want is another category in the 'Training' table under Leagues. Currently has Running, Swimming, Biking and 'All Training'. If it had an extra category of 'Walking', that would probably give you what you want

Following in Phals footsteps, I’ve just passed 1000 miles walked this year.

Good work you two. I’m on 876 and have done 100 miles every month. However I’m injured and will struggle I fear to do 100 this month. We’ll see

The reason I was able to up to 1000 by now is because of injury. I tweaked my calf on the 1st of June and had 3 weeks of bits and pieces running, so added a few extra walks in.

I seem to have turned into a fully fledged walker now. Only run 3 miles this month but walked 98! I must say I much prefer it and so do my knees and hips.
I have a question about trekking poles. I’m going to do a few of the Lakeland Trail Challenges (I can walk quite fast so should make the cut off time of 3 1/2 hours for 15k). I’ve ordered a pair of poles (only based on Amazon reviews, not expensive ones) so I can see if I get on with them. Does anyone else use them? Any tips?

The main tip from me about poles is always keep the points in front of you where you can see them when you're carrying but not using them rather than having them waving and jabbing around behind you. As far as actual pole use is concerned, I can't help but I suspect they're a good idea when taking knees and hips that are no longer 21 over rough terrain.

Good point about being mindful of people behind you. I’ll try very hard not to stab anyone
