I am working from 9-5 which is less fun. But have been for a run where I controlled when I stopped (am walking back but for WSW purposes)

Morning gonks.

No cake or bacon butty after parkrun today as I'm off to Sheffield for my exhibition. But I got my best time this year (which is also my best time for a few years) of 24.25. The training is paying off.

We are to a celebratory mass for 25 yeara of vows by the nun whom I teach English. Then housework.

Officially on vacation but not the most exciting start...

Well that was exciting! Managed to get a puncture on the way to parkrun, luckily we had factored in some extra time, 15 mins for a wheel change was pretty good, well done to Jigs! Made it in time to Clare Castle which is a lovely parkrun so definitely recommend, downside was having to purchase a new tyre though.

Ran Whitehaven parkrun this morning, it was their 5th birthday so lots of cake. Wasn’t a very good run for me but I enjoyed it and was 1st in AG out of 2 😁

Bit of a slog at parkrun today. Lesson learned. Don’t do a speed session on Thursday & tempo run on Friday. Friend was celebrating their 250th so some lovely cake in park afterwards.
