It was my turn to be the Friday Morning Faller today :-( I am never a fan of the particular area we were running in as the paths are very stony and muddy and I've seen others come a real purler up there. I was actually trying to make sure I picked my feet up but nonetheless a random stone got me. A bruised knee (not my dodgy one, fortunately) was the only injury fortunately.

I couldn't believe how soaking wet everywhere was up there but apparently they had torrential rain here on Wednesday, which we didn't get up in Gloucestershire.

Fine thanks. I was amused by the difference in my fellow runners' reaction to this fall, compared to the fall I had at New Year with my other club. Then, I was told not to get up straight away etc etc but this morning two of the chaps just grabbed my arms and hauled me upright (when I wouldn't have minded a second or two to catch my breath :-) )

Dipps, could I trouble you to add a couple of races to the sidebar please? 12th May Bourton One Mile Challenge and 9 July Greystones 10k Trail Run. Thank you!

Hope there's no lasting damage LD. Have you given up your marathon training now? If so, good decision, given how your knee keeps telling you. ;-)
