Goose fair successfully galloped - first 10km race of the year and very happy with my time of 01:01:25 (this time is only 9 secs slower than my very first 10km race back in 2018!). As it is mainly along canal towpaths it was a frustrating (but very pretty) course for doing run walk. I'll blog about this in a few days (I'm waiting for the race photos)

We went king street then into Seaton. Alan was still in Dunelm went we got back 😂😂

I was right about needing a rest - I sat down to read the Sunday papers when we got back from baby-cuddling and half an hour later realised I needed to get some food in the oven if we want to eat later! It's annoying, it wasn't a brief refreshing nap but a sleep that's a struggle to shake off - feel a bit yuck now :-(
