*dispenses bubble wrap to thread* Think some of you need to wrap yourself in that.

Hope no lasting damage done and heal quickly folks.

DOMS here and still windy so I have not run today but it was the second day of the club 13.1 challenge so I did a 1 min 31 sec wall sit then a plank. Tries some gps are which wasn’t too bad but I think we are all pretty much done now. Was lots of fun though. Was hoping the wind would drop but doesn’t look like it.

We also saw MLT346T coming in to land in alpenrose's back garden.
All the way from Cardiff (thanks to flight aware), so I guess it may be heading for the long stay car park?

Wish you lot would take of yourselves.

Was going to do a 10k run today but took a long lie and then Asda so lost out on that time but took a lovely 8 mile walk exploring a new place to go. Would be nice and quiet for a run if I ever get back up to the miles

Is the Lockdown Croc 10 in the race finder? I can't find it. Have just sent my dosh but not sure if I should sign up somewhere. Sorry, I'm having a very woolly-headed day today :-(

Hi LD. It's not in the listings but Mr Fetch suggested people could do it as part of their fetch virtual weekend race. The listing is on the right.

Evening everyone, seems like ages since I was last in posting. The last time was 2 weeks ago before I ventured out for a impromptu half marathon (it was supposed to be the Sunderland half) so gave a virtual run a go. Bit of a disaster in that I overran and ended up doing almost 15 miles oops mistake 1. Mistake 2 was I ran through the pedestrian tunnel (under the Tyne) but due to social distancing the lift was out of bounds for foot passengers and I had to use the static escalator at both ends (over 600 steps in total). Mistake 3 came when I realised I was going to be over 13 miles so I would get the ferry back across the Tyne only to be told it wasn’t a necessary journey 🤬!
I’ve read the thread every day just haven’t done anything interesting to post and have been so busy at work then working from home most evenings.
Take care everyone and enjoy your bank holiday weekend

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
