How's your foot today, TM?

Never done one of those virtual events but the medals usually look pretty good.
Stay safe on shift x

Foot feels OK thanks Sarah. I think it's at that annoying stage of "can feel tightness all the time but not too bad, can run on it but don't particularly trust it" but it was only by just doing short runs that it got better last time. I know physio would say just run but stop if the pain returns. So not going far from home. Which under current circumstances isn't a problem!
Off to work now - should be Ok. Every single shift I give thanks for the fact I transferred from Birmingham to Warwickshire before the virus struck 🙏

Morning

Starting to be able to talk about things, social distancing has gone out of the window with my Dad and siblings.

Just before 1pm on Wednesday 15th April 2020 my Dad lost his Wife, 5 children lost their Mother, 11 Grandchildren lost their Grandmother, and, 9 Great Grandchildren lost their Great Grandmother.

My mum and dad celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on 1st April, she was 78, but it was the suddenness of it all, she literally collapsed walking from the fridge to cooker to make lunch.

Mum believed in her family over all else, her love was unconditional, if any of her Children, Grandchildren or Great Grandcholdren ever did anything wrong, it could never be their fault.

Oh Phil, I'm so sorry. It's never a good time, but this is a really shitty time. Thinking of you.

So sorry, Phil. If you want to fetchmail me to let off some steam, I am here. It might not be this week but if months down the line you want to talk to someone who has been through it, I'm here.

It's even harder when you cannot have the usual support networks and rituals but you can hold a memorial later xx

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
