I didn’t mean you SW, I’m sure you are one of the many responsible dog owners :)

99.999% of dog owners are in my experience. Just a few fuckwit owners.
Did lower body rebound workout earlier. I can barely walk! Not sure if it was that or combat rebound earlier, but ow!

I mentioned somewhere the 40-ish bloke exercising a large dog by cycling along the pavement next to it in mid-lockdown. He's not representative of 99.999% of either dog owners or cyclists but boy is he something to complain about.

FWIW I occasionally walk the outlaw's dog when we're all up in the Lakes on holiday - she goes off lead where there are no sheep, but I make a point of pulling her away from anyone who looks concerned by her (or, sometimes, introducing her - two wee girls who apparently had never met a dog before, and actually were captivated by her once they'd got over the fear).

Lovely 6ish mile walk today with family. Was very very naughty and drove 2 miles to a layby (deserted) just to get to a different footpath network for the turtle. Lots of stopping for Poohsticks at various little bridges, wildflower identification, admiring newborn calves and lambs, and when we got to the village we were heading for at the end, the lovely lovely postoffice/corner shop man opened the shop up so we could get ice creams. It had actually closed at midday, we got there at 1 but since he was chatting to another villager he saw us and had sympathy for the fact I'd told a 5yr old she could have an ice cream after 3 miles! Walked back a different route across fields, saw hardly anyone.

Successful day really (got shopping for parents and managed a nice socially distanced chat and cuppa with Dad, then picked up some mixed hair colour my hairdresser had left in her porch for me and TP has done my roots!). Work looms tomorrow...

Puzzling run today - in search better pics of those white flowers, and planning to take some of the wood anemones fro a week ago to show how different they were.

So - goal 1 done - lots of 'wood sorrel' pics, then to find some of the 'very different' wood anenomes. But there weren't any - just lots of the sorrel. Puzzling ... the bell shaped 'sorrel' and scraggly papery petals were so different to what I remembered the week before. But I also doubt they could change in a week.

I just found this - which explains it - they've been bewitched, theguardian.com

Will blog pics later - and a few othe flower questions, but apologies for doubting the wisdom of fetchies, and the few, who I now believe, were right all along.

Give yourself a break LG, it's not as if you're in training for a race or anything........., now's a good time to give it a good long rest so it can mend properly.

I know AR but I'm so frustrated as I was pootling along nicely trying to build so speed back up and this bloody happened out of thin air. I know I should be grateful that at least the weather is nice and we can still get outside for exercise.

Walking is good LG, don’t fret. Remember this next time you suffer from CBAs :) Think I’ll walk instead of run later as my legs will be battered. Not that you can tell much difference between my running and walking right now :)
