I went. I hadn't really planned much of a route so once I'd set off I meandered in a likely direction, and made it up as I went along. Whoever I have as an opponent in WSW is going to hate me once I get home and upload ;)

:-) excellent.

More luck Ralph. Hope you have a good dog sticker for that, too.

& GWS to the FDNBs.
We been for a very wet walk, I feel very sorry for the Cormorants, they looked very fed up. (I think!)

I've just ordered a new pair of the same insoles I get from the podiatrist. On Amazon they are £4.95 a pair. I need to trim the underneath of the insole like she's done on my other pairs, and find the lumpy bit she sticks on behind the trimmed 'hole', and I'll have a new pair of insoles. The lumpy bit on my first pair that she made for me was basically just two layers of old insole, trimmed to a dome shape, though admittedly on the second pair it's a piece of moulded rubber or silicone or something. I bet I can find them online.

I reckon as these insoles have lasted me 6 months, if I can replicate them for less than a tenner a go, it really isn't worth me forking out £300 for the super-duper 3D printed ones she suggested.

Happy birthday SW! cake :)

GWS to all the lurgified.

My snot virus is causing havoc in my ears with all the upping and downing at the moment. We had a bonus sunny day today but have snow forecast for the next couple of days. :)

Happy Birthday Sarah xx 🎂🍾🍰

My new shifts are finally up and of the 2 races I wanted to do this Spring, one is fully subscribed and the other I can't do cos I'm working. So now will probably enter the ballot for Two Castles again just to have a target. Gutted to be too late for the Warwick half.

On the plus side, we've booked Easter camping in the Lakes and just about to book summer in Sardinia 😊

Still snotty too but cough seems to have loosened up a bit so I am hoping this thing is finally on its way out. Am keeping my fingers crossed.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
