Morning. Another insomniac here but I did eventually get another couple of hours with my wee cat.

Morning all, late start for me as day off and seeing as all my plans for today have been cancelled by tier 4 i thought I would have a lay in.

Very drizzly here, plus loads of vans, lorries, coaches parked everywhere and an unusual smell in the air. Town is gridlocked - glad I went shopping last night.

Zwift session at 10.30 then dog getting his Christmas haircut so I may run with him to there as it is close by.

Linds. I'd say no. It will put too much pressure on you at a time when you should be being kind to yourself.

LindsD personally I’d give it a go if you think you will find it motivating rather than an over-demanding burden.

Like any plan though be prepared to reassess and bail if niggles/injuries start to make themselves felt.

So the answer is a definite maybe.

I think on balance I agree with TB - but in the end, you do what you want xxx

Looking at the options on your poll, it seems to me that you really want to do it?

Give it a go, plan it with care and sack it off with no regrets if it isn't working?

I did it in September, mixed in with 16-20 mile runs on the weekends. I was tired by the end of it and there were a couple of days where I just did the bare minimum to work through - normally I'd have given myself the odd rest day, which I value over streaking, personally.
It's 106 miles*, which is a bit bigger than you've done recently, but with 74 last month and over 50 with a week to go this month I think it's doable. You never have rest days but the longest days are followed by 1k, 2k and 3k days so there's recovery opportunities.

* if you do it as I did, in miles, rounding each day up to the nearest 0.1 mile, it's 105.9 miles.

What's the worst that could happen? You run a bit, hopefully enjoy it, if you complete, great, if you decide not to, well you'll still have run a bit and enjoyed it.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
