Loving the descriptions Dipps :)

If I hadn’t been running with same friend 2-3 times a week, I wouldn’t have done half the mileage over the past few months. Also been trying to get back to some club runs.

I missed a couple of runs recently due to work so going to try and be more strict with work/life balance. Being off on leave next week will help. Just a pity it looks like a week of rain!

Yeah I’m off next week too but we are away and it definitely looks like rain. I’m hoping to have a crack at run the sum to help get me out and also help with the step challenge the work is doing as of Monday.

Currently all chilled and slightly squiffy on my holidays

Was meant to be NY to celebrate big birthdays but we're pretty content in a cottage in North Yorkshire ;)

Have been planning for an Optimum October as September has been slightly shit ;)

Hi Fetchies. Not sure why I'm posting right now but things aren't good. Dad was taken to hospital today with very rapid onset neuro symptoms. Fit, healthy, no meds, regular exercise. Fine on Saturday, flat footed Sunday, can't walk without staggering today and a weak hand. Not a stroke but his mum died of motor neurone disease and we're all terrified. Luckily I was on duty so took him into hospital, and managed to visit through the afternoon. Mum distraught. I'm in no fit state to work tomorrow (or today for that matter) but in uniform I can go anywhere in the hospital so will be on duty just so I can be that link between him and mum during covid restrictions. Advance apologies for any emotional ramblings. Please wish him well x

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
