I got caught in what I can only describe as a "downpour of biblical proportions" on my run back along Worthing promenade this morning. I was like the proverbial drowned rat. When all said & done though, it's still quite warm out.

Right, where's that armchair.

Morning all. I appear to have legs again which is nice.

Hope you've dried out David :-)

Hope you get a good long nap in your armchair, David. That's been a crappy night and morning.

Som, that sounds lovely! Enjoy!

Went for a run before the forecast rain. Going ok until a sharp pain and tight hamstring forced me to slow right down and cut the run short.

Suddenly 700 seems so far away having seemed so close yesterday...

Not overly happy vibes from 700ers today. Hugs for all (whether needed or not).

Morning all. Slightly disturbed night - dreams full of anxiety :-( but things look better in the daylight don't they. Allegedly.

AT remember 700 is neither necessary nor sufficient and taking care of yourself is more important. Hope the hammie settles quickly for you.

Anyway, been for a short run before the rain arrives and thus achieved my highest September mileage in the ten years I've been on Fetch. Only 86 miles which I know is peanuts compared to some of you but it gets me back on track-ish for 1000 miles this year, after a low mileage August.

Hope you enjoy your zzzzzzzzzzs David and your jaunt in the Peaks Som.

AT, you're nearly there and there's still 3 months left of the year.
Nice going LD.

I went for a little walk this morning before the rain so have managed to achieve 101 miles of walking for the month, an easy amount for people with dogs but an all time record for me. I started running again and hopefully I manage to get a blackheart for most of next month. :)

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
