I ducked out of any exercise last night and today on grounds of PMS, cramps and general feeling shittiness. I dusted down the kids' bikes as well as my own beat-up mountain bike and I *might* attempt the tiniest of trial rides tomorrow (no more than 10 minutes). I have permission from physio to attempt biking to work and back which less than 10 min each way to get gradually used to it. We shall see.

9k run on the chart for tomorrow.

After yesterday's pummelling and being turned into a pincushion by Tessa the Torturer (she's actually lovely) I am resting my legs today.

Will help with the Beginners tomorrow. Love doing the Beginners :-)

Fingers crossed for both the 9k and the bike trial, ITG :-)

I am also going to be helping with the Beginners.
It's OK. Eddie the Coach said I could :-)

I will also be playing out on the NDW later on in the day.

Evening. Managed to actually finish work early tonight. Went for a run afterwards. Doesn’t happen often!

Good luck with trialling on the bike ITG.

Hope the torture works for you Paula, have fun with the beginners.

I am home now and not in the least bit inclined to go out in the rain so my half marathon training will start tomorrow. I may even try to cobble together a loose training plan.

Evening, finally catching up.

Glad TR is going home. Nice to see Alpen made it home. So happy that Serene managed not to stay lost.
Good news for runners getting out today.
AL, I think there was something like that done here last night so my running chum tomorrow will be telling me all about it on our looooonnng run

Back home after my workshop. A bit star struck to be frank. James Dunne is just a lovely bloke! Really enjoyed myself and felt I had learned a lot. Stuffed down toast as I have 18 miles to do in the morning.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
