Evening. Well done to those who have run, spun or some any other firm of exercise.

*Whispers* don't tell anyone but I feel a bit better - sshh (that's only 3 weeks since I first got sick).

Spin was good. Someone brought luminous face paint so a lot of us had face stripes. I did a bright yellow adam ant style stripe. Not enough Wham, but lots of 80s tracks and I sang along for some of it. Good fun. The class was still full despite the snow, and the road where I parked was super icy, my car was a bit like a curling stone.

I love George Michael, was a Wham fan too, and saw him on his 25 Live tour, he was ace. I remember LiveAid very well, I was 14, it was a very hot day, and I did all the ironing while watching.

Have you bought your buff yet? I just ordered mine. Woohoo! To go with my fetchy vest and long-sleeve fetch top. I'll look like a macedonian flag.

8 miles running, excellent Kim :)

Good on the Spinners too. I like the sound of neon face paint. Wham not so much.

I ran to the gym for yoga, which was fine (one side of the road was completely snow free almost all the way) but coming out at ten past nine there had been a tiny dusting of snow which had frozen, so it was a bit treacherous.

Evening all just back from Madstad bloody freezing and the football was not entertaining. Got a run in this afternoon in the snow it was lovely when in the park. Finished before it became too slippery.
I also visited Alberta Cstar though we were there in the summer good memories.

Morning :-)
Been very windy overnight, some drifting has occurred. Will need to take the dogs (dog sitting for my parents again) for a walk to inspect the state of the roads. Although the Transport Minister for Scotland said "don't drive", yesterday work set a global email to say "we expect staff to make every effort to come to work" *rolls eyes*

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
