Snow here but not too bad.

My yoga class isn’t really yoga, it’s called core fusion and is a combo of yoga, pilates and traditional core. So lots of planks, burpees with extra things added (squat jumps, press-ups etc), and lots of reps. My stomach muscles went on strike by the end.

Snow sign of it yet. ;-)

I once spent 6 weeks outside every day in -20 to -30 in N Alberta, Canada. With the right kit you can do these things. But running becomes quite hard below -20. Balancing staying warm with sweating and that freezing is the challenge :-:

Light dusting of snow here but not enough to stop me running home from dropping the car off for its service. I have many layers on :-)

Morning :)

Glad to hear PP not running - what's miss 1 day out of a plan compared to frostbite?
Also glad I'm not skiing this week as it's -20 over there too.

[Does anyone else's phone lose the keyboard at random intervals? It seems only on fetch and it drives me as daft as a Laplander.]

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
