I ran yesterday in the snow and cold here in Helsinki and it was OK at around -10. However my Finnish colleagues have strongly recommended I do not run tomorrow morning in -25 wind chill as the government have sent out warnings to outdoor workers

-25 is taking things a bit far for Helsinki. Meanwhile, in Rovaniemi, they will be cutting holes in the ice to go skinny dipping. Nutters up there.

Hello and welcome Jude. I'm not even targeting 700 this year, but still hang around on the thread because the company is so good.
Bitterly cold here but as yet no snow. Skinny dipping at -25, wouldn't it result in instant paralysis? Went swimming. Water was considerably warmer than -25.

Dreadmill done, how I hate it so boring, and it was only 5k before I gave up, it was either that or poke my eyes out. I think tomorrows run will have to be outside, unless snowmageddon arrives
